I changed cars seven months ago. Altech receive a query from my insurance about cancellation and months later after not receiving many payments decide to contact me about payments. This is a whole seven months later. I would think they would notice and enquire just two months or so after payments are not received. I then spoke to someone, thinking my tracker on the old car was already cancelled, about fitting a tracker on my new car. I received a random message saying someone was coming to fit the tracker. This without enquiring about whether the time and date was fine with me. After that I never heard from altech again. Now I get told I owe some R400 and some change. I would've thought the company has an accountant who checks the books regularly regarding payments and someone who follows up with clients on queries logged.
