I am a new client and I had arranged to have a tracking unit installed in my car with CarTrack over the phone. During the telephone contract conversation with Portia I was told that if I do not pitch for my appointment on Saturday (2nd Nov) at 9:00 I will have to pay them R570 for the installation. I gladly agreed to those T&C's.

On the day, I arrived at the agreed location 15 minutes before 9:00 and waited for their technician to get there. An hour later I was still waiting then I called to find out what was happening and the dam operator told me that she would get back to me but she didn't. Another hour went by and I called again, this time I was told that they have a problem with their job cards system and that their technician is on his way. When the technician finally got there he too was because they only informed him at 09:45 that a client is waiting for him.

What me off the most is that they failed to communicate with me even though I'm a new client. Since they were the ones who didn't keep their end of the bargain may I please have the R570 we agreed on as per the T&C's.

Do you really expect me to honor my new contract???
