They suppose to be protecting us

We hade a breakin in December and ADT responded to the panic button with a telephone call to my husband while I was allone with the kids in the home while the robbers tried to come in, they only arrived 15 min after the call. in Jan we had people witha flash light in our yard again the panic button was pressed and no response after 10 min I let the alarm sound and then thereafter they phoned my husband who then told them there was trouble. I am cancelling my contract with them they are not delivering the service we are paying for, I was told that I cant and I signed 4 years, I asked for a copy of the contract and it is now more than 3 weeks and still no one sent it to me, We did not sign into any contract, we paid for the alarm system and that was all we signed for, this is poor poor service and now I cannot do anything while I am waiting for ADT to wake up and cancell the service so that I know I can join a different security company that is more than willing to deliver the proper service.
