On Fri 31 May 2013 we had an attempted break-in at our house.
After the alarm was setoff no call was received from ADT. I called 2 times and on the 2nd time they had the ordasity to ask me for my code speaking in what I can only describe as an arrogant, indifferent manner. Codes are for if everything is ok and call centre was harping on that point even after I said no I would not give it to them.

Needless to say I managed to inflict some facial damage to one of the perpetrators and scare the guys off.
It took over 30 minutes for ADT arrived which was a few minutes after my last call to them.

No one has come with an incident report to fill out. No phone calls to follow up. Nothing
The break in was in my children's bedroom and they are traumatised. My eldest daughter now also has to go for counceling as she is besides herself.
ADT reported the incident as a false alarm according to my sources in Hout Bay.

When ADT arrived they stood around and did nothing. Not even a perimeter check. The local security company that arrived, without being called out, did the perimeter check eventually.

The 1 time I needed ADT they were nowhere. What am I paying for? I have sent a mail to them.
