SECURITY? YEAH RIGHT

My family and I have become the unfortunate victims of a house. A common occurrence in our "rainbow nation" - so common that we are forced not only by the fear that drives us, but by our insurance companies to take up high priced "premium" security from businesses such as ADT.

The day of the break in, we were alerted of our alarm going off. It then took 30 minutes for a guard to respond and arrive at our house (the robbers cleaned house in less time) - this guard had come from a business parking lot some 2-3km away from the suburb I reside in. Also, NO ONE from the call centre provided us with feedback as to what was going on. We had to be informed by my cousin who lives with us (& whom arrived home when ADT was there) that there was a break in.

Your response time was pathetic, and the fact that no one called us is even worse. When we attempted to call you, we could get hold of no one. We got through to a Pretoria call centre where they put us on hold for 7 mins.

I came home from work today (Tuesday) - and I decided to take a drive around our neighbourhood, and to my surprise, not a single ADT vehicle is in the area.
