BREAK IN RESPONSE

On the 10th August 2013 I had a break-in at my property. ADT was telephoned to respond. I had disturb the burglars (7:15pm) My wife sat in the car fearing for the safety of our 3 kids (7yrs / 5yrs / 3Months)
The alarm did not go off signalling a break-in. The Robbers were in the main bedroom, which has a sensor.
I have contacted ADT on more than 3 times to give me a full report on the alarm system as to why it did not go off. warn us. The have made appointments and not pitched. I have called to follow up still no response.
I feel like when they come out if they do it will be blame pointing that something was not correct on my alarm.
I have now 16 days later called back to find out what is going on, their response 1st response was that the call was concluded on the 15.08.13. then when I disputed this, I was told that the call was pushed to another technician, and then that Tec. did not have the laptop to do the job. Eventually after 45mins I was asked to pay R350.00 for the call out fee.
Personally ADT have let me and my family down and I will never recommend them.
I was assalted during the incident, pepper-sprayed. My wife and kids were affected by the spray.
