I have been a dstv subscriber since 2009 may. my decoder is giving me problems now and i cant watch tv. i phone in this morning -2013/02/11- and was advised to take it in for diagnosis. at that place i was told i must buy a new one because the software for this decoder is outdated. i dont think it is fair because i bought the sevice and paying for it every month so i must be given what i bought. if the software for my current decoder is outdated then they must update it free of charge. when i bought the dstv i was not told that i will have to unpdate the software on the decoder now and then. so my decoder is not broken, its softwareis outdated. i deserve what i am paying for.
