We have had a DSTV since 2005. On Monday morning when we wake up our decoder was showing an error code bE1 which when we checked on the multichoice it said the decoder is faulty. so we bought a decoder from a friend, we phoned multichoice about it and they told us that they need information from the previous owner to activate the decoder for us. we contacted them with the previous owner, they said they want the guy to come in person, we drove the guy to multichoice with the decoder, they took all the necessary data, looked at the decoder and told us that everything is sorted and that we can go home and connect it.
when we got home and connected the decoder, it shows that there is a problem, we then called Multichoice again and now they are telling us that we have to bring the Decoder back because they did not plug it in.

We feel that the staff at Multichoice is incompetent because we have wasted money on numerous phone calls and on petrol but still they are giving us different excuses for something that can be sorted in a second if they were all properly trained. We can not waste petrol to go to Randburg again because they will not assist us anyway. please assist us.
