Good decoder under pretext

I paid up my account and switched off my decoder for a year, kept the decoder contract going, went to Parow to reconnect, they told me to bring in my decoder and card, beforehand I asked multichoice if my current system and card will still work and have email from them confirming this. At the parow service centre I was told my decoder needs to be software upgraded, I took it in the lady then said they cant upload the software, this decoder was working perfectly, she then said she see I have a contract and she will give me a new decoder.
Now I get a bill for R400.00 for a decoder repair, I dont think so, I will not pay for a decoder as I have a perfectly working one all they had to do was update the software, this was so a to get my good decoder and then bill me with a second hand one, I will not pay and expect Multichoice to take this balance off my account. This is plain from clients.
I will give back their decoder and then want mine back, it is marked with my initials so it wont be a problem to identify unless they have already given to someone else
