On 5.1.13 I telephoned Multichoice Cape Town (0215052222) to change my current banking details to those of my son whom will forthwith be paying by debit order, consultant took all the details, sons banking details included, told me that everything was fine and that the debit order would still be passed on same day. not so! mail message appeared on my tv from dstv on the 23.1.13 informing me that my subscription should be paid by 31.1.13! I immediately contacted the Cape Town number again, to be told that because there was already a debit order on my sons bank, he would have to sms "debit order" to 32445 and wait to be contacted. My debit order being cancelled without activating the new debit order. How unprofessional can you be? My son sent sms on 26.1.13, received a call from multichoice on 27.1.13 when he was informed that the necessary docs would be emailed to him and the matter "escalated". Has up to date 1.2.13 not received anything. Went onto Multichoice website & downloaded the necessary 3rd-party debit order and sent it to fax no (011) 577-5946 on 30.1.13 and asked to be urgently advised whether the debit order would pass timeously. no feedback to date. go figure
