During the month of August I received a call to place a debit order on my account. I accepted the debit order. On 30 August I accidently made the internet banking payment as usual. R730. On the 1st of September the debit order had gone through. I phoned Multichoice on the 3rd of September and requested a refund. The consultant explained to me that it would take 3 to 7 working days. I have made 3 more phone calls during the month to them, because I still haven't received my refund. On Wednesday the 18th of September I phoned once again and the consultant assured me the transfer was being done as we speak. Today, the 20th of September when I phoned again the consultant told me that there is no request for a refund registered. This is unacceptable. I could have gone to the bank and disputed the debit order. This way I would've had my money on the 3rd of September. But knowing that is not the way to do business I tried following procedure. I request an immediate refund.
