I cancelled my DSTV on the 2013-07-02 due to the amount of reruns we as subscribers are experiencing. I had phoned earlier in june to cancel the debit order as well as the insurance on the decoders, however my debit order still went off and i had to spend an hour on the phone trying to get it all cancelled and the debit order refunded. I was then told by the consultant that the refund would take 7 working days. I was put through to the insurance depatment to cancel my insurance again as they did not process my previous request. I then phoned on the 2013-07-12 to find out why i still have not been refunded 9 working days later. The accounts department had told me that it says the refund was declined but could not give me a reason. They then reprocessed the refund and said it would be in the next day as requested and that it has been authorised. I have had to phone again today, 2013-07-16 as i STILL HAVE NO REFUND. The accounts department have told me they have sent a cheque to my bank and I need to follow up on it. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. WHY THE DELAY.
