Called DSTV. Held on for 42 minutes to be transferred to another call system. Another 20 minutes. Neo disconnected my call. Called again. Spoke to Dikeleli who quoted their standard answer to all queries. "Check your installation".
Strange that my signal strength and quality were great, but the decoder was showing blank screen on most channels.
Randburg replaced the decoder and failed to connect my Xtra view.
I'll have to visit them with a baseball bat to sort this as I refuse to call their incompetent call center.
Surely, these people do this for a living and should get it right.
Of course, my billing doesn't stop when the equipment doesn't work.
For a monopoly, they have us by the shorts.
Perhaps I'll subpoena their CEO to a competition commission enquiry. After all, this is unfair business practice by definition.
