New DSTV installed 2 months ago and now NO SIGNAL

I bought a DSTV decoder from Makro 2 months ago that included FREE installation and Ellies dispatched installers to install the dish. The installation took place and although the dish was installed in close proximity of trees the reception was still good - if according to the installer's expert recommendation, if reception was not good enough, they should have suggested otherwise and installed the dish to another spot. As of last Tuesday, 29/10/2013 my household has since not been able to view any channels and we no longer have ANY signaI. At first the channels 'froze' then the screen just went blank (blue) and after having been able to watch DSTV for the past 2 months uninterrupted (still paying subscription diligently) this is not acceptable!! I called the call centre, took the decoder to be tested at Multichoice to be determine what the problem could be; the decoder was fine. I have since contacted the installer who came out to access the 'situation' and was told that its because of a certain tree that Im not getting signal. I was quoted R450 for an extended bracket on which to install the dish.?? WHAT HAPPENED TO FREE INSTALLATION?? and WHY am I liable for this cost?? NOT ON!!
