We have been on Extra View for more than 3 years when one decoder gave problems, call centre advised me to take decoder to closest Multi choice, I had to buy a new decoder. The agent also told me to phone the call centre to have the decoder activated, which I did.
While busy, the call was dropped. I phoned again, and while busy with the call centre, I saw that the decoder was picking up the channels and told the agent that the decoder working now and I ended the call. Nobody told me that I had to request extra view to be activated, they only state that I have to activate the decoder.
Needless to say, I was debited the following month with R1802 from Multichoice, which I unpaid. The Multichoice agency then quoted an amount, which I did in cash the same day at their cashiers. Next thing I know, my service was suspended. I had to pay another premium before they reactivated my service. In a nutshell, Multichoice forced me to pay for two premium bouquets while I have been a Xtra view customer for years. We're customers for /-17 years and never once defaulted. When I requested them to refund me, Tessa Tucker responded only giving me the facts of my payments, I'm very despondent
