On Demand_on Strike

Recreation & Entertainment

Since Thursday 18 July I observed that my DSTV on demand titles are disappearing. So on Saturday 20 July when the problem still persisted I phoned the technical call center to assist, the lady confirmed that my signals etc was all in order and that I must check my recorded playlist. She then said a signal was sent to the decoder and that the on demand titles will start to reload and everything will be fine within 24 hours.

On Sunday I phoned again and the technical adviser told me that we don't have any titles on our on demand because we have 70% recordings on our playlist and she even had the audacity to say that i must watch On Demand online. So then I totally lost it, I didn't buy a TV and Decoder to watch programs on a PC. For the last 2 years we were running on 88-92% recordings with no problems and now all of a sudden she informed me that it must be 60% or less other wise I won't be able to access on demand or box office titles.

Should be rectified asap as I am paying for that service.

Then I asked to be put through to the costumer care as I want to leave a complaint about this issue, where the lady said I must rather write an email.

So here it is.
