Error e30-4 "checking subscription status". Call centre can't fix it. Had to take decoder to service centre for a flash clearing to remove error.
Error E30-4 returns daily and the only way to remove it is doing a flash reset. All settings and scheduled recordings are then lost and takes time to reinstate. Luckily we, the customers don't have anything better to do than to spend time fixing Monochoice stuffups.
DStv on demand titles aren't downloading anymore. Call centre has no answers.
Tried to join the DStv Forum as it seems the people there are more clued up... Still waiting for forum activation to ask for help.
When a customer don't pay the service is terminated, but when the service is not available the customers doesn't get a refund. I guess you can pretty much do what you want when you have a monopoly.
