I had the wonderful experience of having invited friends and family over to watch the Confed cup finals, we set up with our braai and snacks and just as the game was to kick off, my connection disconnected. The error message was clear that my account had not been paid, Yet I had paid the account by the 27th which means a day before it was due. I am livid as I had a total of 11 guests waiting for the game, all dressed up in their respective teams uniforms, being die hard supporters only to have to miss the 1st half of the game and than move our party to another friends house.
It was such an embarrassment to have all my guests think that I am not up to date with my account despite me having settled the account well in advance, this morning upon calling the call centre I had the voice prompts not recognise my ID number several times and than recognise it and suggest my account is in arrears by over R500. I have all my proof of payments for the past few months and think its absolutely ridiculous that I had to endure such embarressment. Luckily we went to my friends house who has TOP TV and he suggested that in the 1.5 years of using that service he has had no issues at all.
