Failure to turn off lights and adjust the screen

This is perhaps the 3rd time I went to this cinema and they failed to turn of the inside lights and adjust the screen after the trailers. I had to walk out of the movie to ask someone to do it. I PAID to watch the WHOLE movie, but I always end up missing the beginning, I walked out and spoke to what appeared to be the manager on duty, an Indian lady with glasses. she offered to give me complimentary tickets to watch another movie for the inconvenience, and left me standing there for almost 15 minutes. she just ran to hide because she offered to give me tickets, well for making me stand there like an, I want those tickets, and I would like the staff to start turning off the lights and adjusting the screen on time.
