Told to watch another movie after tickets were bou

We went to watch we're the millers at 17:45 yesterday but once when we were entering the cinema we were told the movie wasnt showing and we should watch another movie starting at the same time. If the movie was not being shown should they not have told us when we bought tickets 5 minutes before that?
