My girlfriend and I went to watch This Is Forty two weeks ago, we got into the cinema and twenty minutes after the movie was supposed to start a guy came and told us they are having technical difficulties and they are working on it. Ten minutes later he told us he has to cancel the movie but gave us complimentary tickets to see another movie at a later stage as compensation. Being away the weekend after, we chose this past Saturday to use the complimentary tickets to see The Big Wedding. Upon arriving at the counter the lady kindly informed us that the tickets were only valid for a week and had expired. I therefore "lost" the movie I had paid to see and had to repay. Being a busy time and being late for the movie, I did not make a fuss but paid for the movie. We then went to get popcorn and a coke, we got to the line at 7:47, 13 mins before the start time of 8:00, it took us until 8:23 to get two items (we missed the start). How is a 36 min wait acceptable at a place like a movie house for something as simple as a box of popcorn? Either get more staff or improve the staff efficiency. Furthermore, giving customers 1 week to go an see a movie when you made a mess is ridiculous.
