We submitted a claim and it was rejected. I called the call centre and they apologised, said it will be paid the next week. It has since been 3 months that I have been calling them every week, every time they say a different storey why it have been rejected, promising it will be solved the next week and they will call me back to confirm. Problem is, every time the person does not come back to me, and if you call you speak to a different consultant and they "can't" connect you to the previous person you spoke to. What makes it worse, I asked to speak to a manager every time, sometimes normal call centre staff pretend to be a managers like Teneil Potter. When I phone again I cant speak to her and find out she is actually not even a manager. I did manage to speak to Trenesen (Aparently a manager) but thereafter he never came back me and never returns any of my calls.
As we are being suid by the hospital, I am now paying the outstanding fees myself, hoping to get the funds back eventually. I ask the question, why pay every month for medical aid if they dont pay and does not return calls or give valid reasons?
