On Monday afternoon 1 April 2013, the left push bar of my husband's wheelchair snapped. As this also forms part of the back rest, he slumped forward because he no longer had the support for his back. On Tuesday morning my brother-in-law took the wheelchair directly to CE Mobility and asked them if they could fix the chair in the interim. They advised that the repairs had to be paid for in advance. I don't have R3000 lying around to cover the repairs - the medical aid had already been contacted, but they were still getting back to me. A quote was given and we submitted this to the medical aid. Eventually after much follow up with the medical aid, they let us know on Friday afternoon, that they had to get an invoice in order to make payment. My husband contacted CE Mobility to request the invoice. The consultant was not available and would phone him back. This never happened. This morning (8 April) at about 8:30, my husband called and requested them to send the invoice to him. After much debate, the consultant agreed.By 1:30, we had still not received the invoice. I called them again and was advised that the admin lady was busy with it. 5pm and still have no invoice.
