Arrears that I did'nt know existed

I am absoultely shocked that I recieved a call 2 weeks ago advising me that I am in arrears with Lancet Labs and have been handed over to debt collectors. Up until 2 weeks that was the very first that I heard that I was in arrears. I was disgusted to know that I had been handed over to debt collectors without any prior contact to advise of the arrears. There was no communications from your self or the practioner of any outstanding amount. This is absolutely shocking.
