After more than a week, I am still awaiting a refund or even some kind of valid response which was promised to me. Upon enquiring about a booking and paying, responses were very fast. Since requesting to amend my booking correspondence had become much slower after having already paid for my reservation. I booked out of Icon Luxury Apartments on 1st September 2013 in the morning where I had left my banking details at reception the day before and have reminded all staff at reception about my refund. It is now the 9th of September and I am still waiting and have had no response as to where my refund is sitting on the system. The only response I have received on the 5th of September was from Michelle stating that a colleague had passed on and that everyone was a bit over whelmed. Whilst I do sympathise with the passing of their colleague, I am pretty sure that they did not stop any bookings over the period of being over whelmed, but have failed to refund me my money back. According to the agreement I amended my reservation in time and am eligible for my refund. What kind of business is this where one has to fight for your own money back?
