I had a car accident in Dec 2012. While in hospital, my medical aid claims were followed up by a friend. She has continued to do the follow up, so as to have continuity.
We are having endless phone calls, reference numbers, requests to call back in 7 - 10 working days, followed then by another ref number, request to ring in another 7 days... all of this with no results.
I have spoken to the team leader, who promised to forward ALL queries to the PMB dept, and would return my call with feedback... no call to date. I called again last week, and after being promised, again, still no feedback call.
As some of the Dr's bills have not been settled in full, some dating to Dec 2012, i am now receiving notification of attornet action. ( some bills being covered to med aid rate and not the 200% above, as is my understanding of a PMB claim)
I am blocked from speaking to someone higher in management. Dealing with the call centres and repeating my position of ALL claims are for PMB, with no feedback or action, is proving to be SO frustrating and exhausting.
The decision to resort to bring this to Hellopeter attention is with the hope that i will receive action.
