No response on claim queries

Pre-approval on hospitalisation was done and a bill was issued for a co-payment. The nedcare accounts department claims that the bills was pre-approved by medshield and they could not get anywhere with their email queries re this co-payment. They are also not allowed to speak to them directly. I've tried several times to contact Medshield but after holding on forever my line is either cut whilst busy with a call center agent (5 incidents) or I get transferred with no reason to a continuous ringtone (3 incidents) that goes on forever. I've send several emails without any response back from Medshield. Medshield must have the worst staff to try to communicate with. If this was an isolated case, I might have understood but this seems to be the standard practice on all queries. Trying to get hold of a supervisor is impossible and they simply will not phone one back on request. One should really think twice before joining this medical aid.
