Two years ago I brought an HP pavilion dv6 laptop. At the time I purchased it, it was the top of the range and very expensive. Every since I have had it, it has overheated sometimes to the point of burning me or shutting down because the system cannot take it. It also lags when playing games, it has an i7 processor so this should not be the case. I have attempted to contact HP multiple times only to receive no response. I actually had to go through the US service center because I could not input any information into certain required fields on the South African site, meaning I could not send my email. I am appalled by the service delivery and will not buy an HP again as I know many other people are experiencing the same problem as I am. I likewise find it shocking that they could sell such a defective product and not even allow me to simply report it.
