We have issues with the 8740w elitebook since we purchased it. We eventually had to purchase a Dell laptop for the user so she could work. we then logged the issue with Hp . they came out 4 times to fix the problem having replaced, the motherboard, the ram, Hard drive and the monitor. which stopped working after they came out to fix the laptop. it is the 25th September, the laptop is still not working, Hp refuses to give a new unit because they say they can fix the problem. However I have been waiting for almost 2 months for parts that have been shipped in- or so I'm told by there customer services. Then today I get a phone call from there technical department asking me whats wrong with the machine. and in order for them to send someone out again I have to answer the questions that I answered 2 months ago when I first logged the problem. I am getting absolutely no help, it seems HP are trying to drag out the case so they don't have to fulfil the warranty. It is just shocking service
