Amazingly I placed a complaint report earlier this month: "A brand new HP Laptop was obtained from Vodacom Vereeniging on a cellular contract. Within 2 months the letters on the keyboard started rubbing off and fading away. We went back to Vodacom, who said that it's not their problem, it is HP's problem. HP collected the laptop, took it away and apparantly replaced the keyboard. Within 2 weeks the letters have ONCE AGAIN started fading away. WHen they were contacted they say that their technical department says the damage is 'self-inflicted'??!! WHo in their right mind self-inflicts damage to a brand new laptop when this is their only means of communication with the outside world? Secondly, if the damage was self inflicted the letters would have jagged damage, it is clear fading. There is no hand-cream being used or anything like that. This is just poor quality parts replacement on the part of HP.When we demanded to speak to a senior or supervisor, we were told that we may not and that our only point of contact is the complaints department. Absolutley shocking client service and a defective product' HP responded that they would be in contact, to date..NADA, NOTHING, NIKS!!
