I called the DHL call centre to get a rate for a parcel 1.5 kgs from Pringle Bay (70km from Cape Town) to Cadiz, Spain. I was told that they could only give me the rate when 'I' delivered the Parcel to a Cape Town office? Two points a) they are the couriers, not me and b) I must travel 70km to get the rate? The lady in the call centre had little or no knowledge concerning her job and had a rather unpleasant attitude.
