PATHETIC PROCESS

Have hired a car before on 2 previous occasions from another rental agent. I saw First Car Rental had a cheap car for R303 for a group B car and decided to rent it. I made a telephonic booking. All I was asked is my contact details, date and time of pick up and drop off. I was not at any point asked if I'm over 23years of age. I landed in DBN and when I went to pick my car I was told that they cant give me the car as I'm under 23years of age. If age is a pre requisite in hiring a car it should be in your interest to ask me all the essential questions before proceeding with the booking don't.dont waste my time if you have time to waste. The fact that it was a telephonic booking I supposedly had a one on one interaction with the agent. I was however after making a scene at the branch, given the car at an additional R150 a day which now costed me R457 to rent a car which I though was a bargain a R303. I questioned the manager (a white lady there) and said no its not their job to ask my age. OF COURSE ITS YOUR JOB IF YOURL ARE HIRING OUT A CAR!!! IT IS absolute pathetic service and I will never ever again hire from yourl and I will pass the word around to the service!!!
