Never use CT Cycle Hire!!!

I hired bikes and had to pay upfront for the full rental period. 2 days into the rental Les Kuys was supposed to drop off an additional bike. He could not make the agreed upon delivery time and then proceeded to cancel the booking. I queried this and he said that because I could not make the new delivery time the booking was now cancelled.

His attitude was obnoxious & he proceeded to scream & slam the phone down on me. He then said he was coming to collect the bike I already had as that booking was now also cancelled. Please note that throughout this I never ever cancelled any booking. He decided at his whim that they were cancelled. Realising that there was no rationality involved I wanted to be done with the bike so said he could collect it but I would obviously be refunded as HE had cancelled my booking. More screaming & shouting (by him!) in which he told me to just sue him.

Apart from the fact that I never got my money back, I find this behaviour an absolutely shocking way to treat a customer. I would not recommend anybody to deal with this company! There is no respect for a signed contract or a customer & this company offers a bad reflection on the service ind in SA!
