Trade in did not last even 2 days STAY FAR AWAY!!!

I traded in my perfectly decent double cab on a VW Microbus as a even trade. we tested the microbus (their route is surely not even 2km long filled with speed humps how well can you test drive a vehicle over such short distance???) and everything seemed fine apart from brake lights not working (i had to show them there was no fuse in). they in returned test drived my bakkie and informed me the clutch had gone and would cost R3500 to fix which i then paid them in cash. when i asked them what about all that was wrong on the microbus and my concern about the brake light fuse i was laughed off as a straight swap also i had to do my own roadworthy etc. two days after the purchase the first time we took it on the highway the engine blew up smoke and something pushed a hole in the engine block. when i phoned them they said sorry its sold as is and i had to replace the motor on my own expense or i have to let my attorney send them a letter and they will respond. my daugter and her friend lost their chance to try out for eastern transvaal hockey due to this and they didn't even sympathise. So be warned they smiles and jokes might make you at ease but its only to sell you s@@t
