Replace working parts

Cars & Transport

My Polo was booked for a service this past Saturday. The EPC light was lit on the dash. The service adviser told me to check if my brake lights were working. I remembered then, that this problem occurred before. I told him that previously it was just a fuse. He said that it is usually the brake light switch. I told him to please check the fuse first and to let me know. He phoned me later to tell me that it is definitely the brake light switch and that it would be close to R1000 extra on my service. I told him to leave the switch as is. When i got my car back, I found a blown fuse, replaced it and the EPS light went out... If they can about something like that, who would know if they even changed the oil & filters...
