Repair rip off

I requested the following:
Model No: ghd 3.1 B Jemelia Limited 220 - 240 Vac 50Hz, 35W Date Code: HL060114 Hologram Numbers: 4x76r k99vh 2edw5 the unit stopped working, because it is out of its warranty period I opened it and discover the fuse was blown and I need to replace the fuse on the unit. Where can I get this fuse?
I was referred to a to the following Nr 031 570 7525 and they
Informed me that they do not sell the parts and
I must send the unit in for repairs and
that the fuse will cost me 400.00 ZAR (43 AUD, 44 USD, 34 EUR, 29 GBP) excluding postage and labour.
I only need a replacement fuse that should not cost more than 1 ZAR (0.10 AUD, 0.11 USD, .08 EUR, 0.07 GBP)
Needless to say, If your - R2000.00 GHD stop working and it is out of its warranty period you can though it away because if it is a fuse that failed that should not cost more than R1.00 it is ludicrous to pay more than R400 for it, this is a total rip off.
