West Coast Village Spur - Disgusting Service

To my better judgement, we thought of having a quick bite at the Spur. We arrived at 6:00 pm and walked into a jungle of kids and families - Burger Night! It seems the Spur spends to much time on silly songs and loose focus on the actually quality of the food and service. To cut a long story short - we were allocated a trainee waitron, the food took an hour, the wrong order arrived at the table, food was cold and the presentation disgusting. Old limp lettuce and tomato, dried out slices of cheese from the pass.

Every 15 minutes the waitron pleaded forgiveness as the staff could not cope with the volume of people? Come again? There is no art at flipping a burger... eventually before 7pm he asked if he could bring one of the main courses as it was ready and standing on the pass. We refused. A general hospitality rules is that all parties eat together... the food was a disaster.

I insisted on having a word with the manager as we wanted to leave. After an altercation with the unknown RUDE manager, another manager, Christopher saved the day and said we don't need to pay for our 2 milkshakes and one beer.

It was just another wake up call why I DONT go to the Spur.
