Does spur wash their food?

Last night went to spur at the v&a waterfront for supper and ordered a burger. The burger came with a live worm in the lettuce! It was moving around on top of the lettuce. How is the food at spur prepared and do they wash their lettuce?

What precautionary measures is Spur going to take to make sure this doesn't happen again? It was disgusting seeing a worm move in my food, a real turn off.
