I recently was involved in an motor car accident and subsequently lodged a claim with Outsurance.to my utter disappointment the the handling of the claim was more stressful than the actual incident.

Outsurance referred me to their appointed panel beater who took more than 50 days to complete the repairs, I had to return the vehicle twice to the panel beater as the vehicle was not restored properly.
The initial assessment was not done correctly and the vehicle had to be re-assessed. Had I not possess some mechanical knowledge I would not have detected the flaws in the workmanship and the "wool would have been pulled over my eyes"
My caution to to fellow consumers beware of insurers using smaller or sub standard service providers to save their costs.
I subsequently had to sell the vehicle after the repairs as I did not have peace of mind or confidence in the job done,
Outsurance's response - was they were sorry for the inconvenience caused " wonderful response after 10 years of being their custome
