Standard Bank
Pathetic service!!!

We applied for a home loan with standard bank and kept getting calls from consultants who told us that they needed outstanding documents etc. After many submissions, I call today to find out on the status and was informed that the application was closed as they didnt have my march bank statements. Nobody communicated this with me and they said they only needed my husbands statements. Very deceiving and very pathetic service. If this is the type of incompetence im delaing with now, i am really happy that I didnt go further with this bank. And just to think that both my husband and myself were so willing to migrate banks. I am deeply disappointed as we were misled and told that our application looks so good and looks like there will be positive outcome. Your mission statement is very deceptive... nobody helped to move us forward... instead your'll stumped prospective clients. I really challenge standard bank to see what the outcome of THIS will be...
