Bad service & wrong assessment of Home loan Pledge

Standard Bank, I've been a customer of yours since I can remember and have recently applied for a Home loan Pledge. I never heard back from you and had to phone to find out the outcome of my loan. I know I have a good credit record and should with no doubt get a much better rate. All my friends that have applied for home loans at other banks have received very good service and home loan rates. If this is the service that I receive from you I would rather move my account to another bank and build up credit there. I would like to know the reason for the poor outcome of the application.
