Incompetent, lazy and arrongant bunch of clowns

Claim logged 7/1/2014, todate, not finalised. Disappointed & angry is an understatement. Im dealing with incompetent, lazy and arrongant bunch of clowns. Santam actually gives our current government a run for their money when it comes to making promises & not delivering. Contractor chosen (JD Flooring) blames Santam for sitting on this matter and Kresan also blames the delay on the carpet supplier. Candice & Richard from Santam confirmed they authorised this over 2 weeks ago. Im waiting to find out if both bedrooms will be done or what. Nobody is coming back to me. When logging the claim I was told the excess will be R1000 which was paid over to the contractor before any work could be done. Santam is also suppose to refund me R3350 which I paid from my own pocket for electrical connection. Michael Hennie has been sitting on this since 10/1 & after many follow ups & promises to refund, todate, suddenly I am told by Kresan that there are 2 excesses, R1000 plus an extra R2500, so Im not getting my full refund. Since 7/1 nobody has mentioned this to me. WHY? I feelSantam is doing everything possible to inconvenience me, insult me and milk me of EVERY cent I have. Bunch of!!!
