No response to a funeral claim

On the 13/01/2013 I went to Standardbank branch and advised them that one of the beneficiaries on my funeral plan has passed on. I was given the claim form by Alice Thompson Employee A47394. and she said that I have a claim as the beneficiary is covered. She gave me the forms and on the 14/01/2013 at 9:00am I was at the Westgate branch again and gave in all the docs. At about 4pm on the 14/01/2013 I received a sms that my claim has been received and registered. I kept on following up about 6 times and everytiime a consultant would say that they are working on the claim and I will just wait 48 hours. Today it is the 19/01/2013 and still nothing. Iv been banking with standardbank since I left school and this is the treatment? When do they expect me to bury my family member when they so incensitive? Why did I have to go to a loan place just to bury a family member who was covered and I was guarnteed? if I had to wait for Standardbank how rotten wouldn't my famiily member be by now? Is this your way of avoiding to pay for claims??? honestly feel that FNB can rather get my business.
