Standard Bank Prestige Account is the worst

I applied for a home loan on the website in December 2013 and to date I have not received an answer. I called the call centre today and the consultant told me that it would take another 10 days for them to assess the property.
Last week, I received a call from a consultant asking ME for an appointment to view the property. I told her that she needs to contact the SELLER and not the buyer and She seemed confused. The seller was only contacted a few days later. Are your consultants competent?
I need to give an answer to another bank tomorrow, Must I close all my accounts and other family accounts to move to another bank?
When I was offered the Prestige account, I was told that I would get "preferential treatment" yet other people with normal accounts have their bond approved within 3 days and I have to wait indefinitely. I complained on the Standard Bank website about a week ago and to date have not received a response yet.
My personal banker has changed and I haven't received a courtesy call or email informing me of the change.
I am sure that "Steve" and the other banks are having a Good Laugh just reading this. Standard Bank vs South Africa service delivery... which is better???
