I went to the branch on a Saturday and when I got to the Prestige Banker, she told me that "today she is a normal consultant, so I will not get the Prestige Banking priviledges". I asked her what the benefit of being a Prestige Banker was and she said "you get to use the Prestige Banking hot line". When I told her that I was unhappy about the service I was receiving, as I had a couple of complaints she told me to stand in the queue. When I told her I was leaving and was going to close my account, she offered to call the Prestige Banking line for me!!! I have sent an email to information@standardbank and prestige@standardbank to complain. That was 15 July. To date, I have not received a response. I think I have given them enough time to respond. As of this weekend, I shall approach another bank!
