BAD SERVICE!!!

I have applied for an building loan which has been approved and the amount has been registered with the Deeds Office. The next step is to receive progress payments from Standard Bank Home Loans. In the past week, I have received an email stating that "not enough work has been done on the property" to warrant a payment from Standard Bank - however an assessor from Standard Bank has already visited my property and signed off on the first payment!

My frustration with Standard Bank Home loans is that this process has been ongoing from August 2013 (4 months) and from misplacing documents to not one individual providing feedback to re-submitting documents and errors by home loan staff - there has been no follow up!

Every time I contact standard bank home loans call center, I'm provided with a call reference number and nobody gets back to me. I am a Prestige customer (whatever that means???) and the treatment I have received as a customer is appalling!

I have had to borrow funds, increase my OD, and make further loans to pay for the builder and for building materials personally. Not even my allocated Standard Bank Prestige banker has been able to help.
