What is the point of having a prestige account?

Yesterday (15 July 2013), i went to my standard bank Gezina branch to make a transaction from my account to an Absa account, there was a gentleman at the reception and i requested to see the prestige banker as i have a prestige account and i was told the prestige banker is only seen on appoint, even though she was free, so i should see the other consultants, i waited for 30 minutes at the reception until a client arrived to see a prestige banker, he didn't ask him if he had an appointment, they just wrote down his name and called the prestige banker to collect him from the reception. i went back to the reception and insisted on seeing the prestige banker and was told that the prestige banker only opens new accounts and does not perform the other functions. why do i have a prestige account with you (Standard Bank) if the prestige banker cannot help me with simple banking needs. why do you call them prestige bankers if they only open accounts? i feel cheated by standard bank because when they told me to upgrade to prestige account, the benefits that they told me i would have seems to be, because every-time i contact the prestige banker, she refers me to someone else
