So called Private Banking a waste of time!!!

I am a standard bank private banking client. Till now my wife and i have tried to bear with the poor level of customer service from the standard bank private banking division hoping that it will at some stage it would improve. This morning was the last straw! My wife called our private banker, Kate Molekwane, to enquire about an application we had submitted around 5 weeks ago. kates response was that she was the only person in the office and that she could not help her and reffered her to the department which was processing the application. What is the use of having a private banker when you have to do everything on your own? we have had many such occurences over the past few months. we had to make several trips to the branch ourselves to complete the above mentioned application, twice because this banker had made us fill out incorrect documents. we've had similar experiences everytime we request something, we are referred somewhere else. To standard bank, your private banking service does not exist. This is the reason why you are losing both my wife and i as your clients and be assured you will continue to lose private banking clients if you allow this to continue.
