Outsurance
Lack of service

Business & Finance

On the 3rd Dec 2013 I reported a leak and received a claim no, detector leak was sent out to have a look at the problem and reported back to outsurance that it was just a shower head leak, however the carpets in my bedroom are soaked. I then reported back to outsurance that this was not possible due to the wet carpet and damp wall. I then called out a plumber for a second opinion which resulted in being advised it was a leak in the wall due to a burst pipe in the and advised that the wall would have to be broken down to repair the leak. Outsurance were informed of this and advised that an assessor would come and assess, which did not happen, I logged a complaint on their site and Melissa's manager Pam contacted me apologising and assured me that someone would come out to assess. This was on the 20th December, I am still waiting for an assessor or detector leak to contact me. Further to my frustration I was informed by Melissa and Pam her manager that there was an influx on calls due to the hail storms and that they were extremely busy, to me this seems as though my problem is minor to outsurance.
