Bad Service and lack of accountability

My House had a power surge from ekurhuleni Power which burnt out my Kitchen lights and Lounge lights.
Nedbank claims that this is not a insured occurrence and will not pay for repairs. It has now taken 6 weeks for me to get this answer. Which I had to phone and get my self. They sent out a contractor to access the damage and now claim that it is not covered. This is not a preventable occurrence and it should be covered.
Ever since I logged the claim I have had endless hassles with the call centre. Even after complaining to the ask once call center. Every time I have had to deal with this department I have had a uphill battle with them not paying out most of the claims. Vaughan
